Applying to universities
Applying to universities can prove to be a strenuous and puzzling time for many students. At IOANID International High School, we support our students in applying to a multitude of university destinations. We aim to help guide our students to make the best choices wherever in the world that might be.
We do this through;

Lorem ipsum dolor sit
This exposure allows students to consider careers they might never have thought of before and/or to test the reality of working in the domain they are aiming to work in.
Each university application is unique. The application process differs depending on the country students decide to apply to. The UK has a centralised system which makes the entire process more easily accessible to students. Universities elsewhere have their own admissions process and entry requirements. (We work in partnership with some agencies in Bucharest who can offer a discounted fee) Furthermore, we support students with this process as far as possible. In most cases, universities require a school reference as well as the students’ own motivation letter, but all choices need to be made by the student and their family. We encourage students to attend open days to get a good feel for a university that they are interested in applying to.
Typically, we support by providing the following:
Some students are clear which career they wish to pursue, others have very little idea and most change their mind somewhere along the road. By exposure to the world of work and finding good university options, students are well equipped to make the most of the opportunities that come their way.
University Destinations
When students decide to apply to a university, there are multiple factors to be taken into consideration before making the final decisions. It is not only the curriculum but also the country itself that are analysed. After receiving good results in the A levels, we can mention our top destinations for the previous academic years:

I chose my A-Levels (Economics, Psychology, and History) because I was deeply interested in humanities subjects. These three areas allowed me to broaden my understanding of how societies function through economics, how individuals think and behave, and how historical events have shaped the modern world. These 3 subjects inspired me to pursue a degree in Law at university.
I applied to and was accepted by four universities: Tilburg University, Maastricht University, the University of Groningen, and the Brussels School of Governance. Ultimately, I chose to study Global Law at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
I was drawn to the Netherlands for its high-quality education, safe and well organised society, and internationally friendly environment. It also offers a vibrant student life and easy access to the rest of Europe, making it an ideal place to study for me for the next 3 years.
