High school students have a mandatory schedule that runs from 8:30 to 14:40/15:30. 

IOANID International High School follows the academic structure and holidays approved by the Ministry of Education of Romania.

Please note that we use the Romanian system for class numbering — High School begins with Grade 9 and ends with Grade 12.

Grade 9​ & 10
2025-2026 School Year

ADMINISTRATIVE FEE

€1,957 / School year

  • Represents the reservation of a place at IOANID International High School;
  • It is non-refundable;
  • Must be paid in full within 5 working days from the invoice date, after signing and submitting the enrolment file;
  • It is not subject to recalculation in case of student absences, regardless of the reason, nor in the event of a transfer to another educational institution during the school year;

Includes:

  • Medical supervision throughout the programme;
  • Video surveillance during school hours (no parental access), exclusively for security purposes;
  • Security services;
  • Utilities and facility maintenance.

CAMBRIDGE RESOURCES, PREPARATION AND EXAMINATION FEE

€1,000 / school year

  • Represents the annual cost of Cambridge examination services – includes both materials and examination fees, but does NOT include additional exams, re-sits, late entry or re-marking fees;
  • It is non-refundable;
  • Must be paid in full within 5 working days from the invoice date, after signing and submitting the enrolment file;
  • It is not subject to recalculation in case of student absences, regardless of the reason, nor in the event of a transfer to another educational institution during the school year;

Includes:

  • Examination fees for up to 8 IGCSE subjects (including Co-ordinated Science – double award);
  • Administrative fees for exam registration;
  • Logistics costs: transport, customs, secure storage and handling of exam materials;
  • Registration and operation costs as a Cambridge Examination Centre;
  • Printed Cambridge resources, textbooks and exam materials;
  • Specialised courses and Cambridge exam preparation sessions;
  • Mock exams;
  • Cambridge Diplomas and Certificates.

LUNCH FEE

€1,782 / school year

  • Must be paid in advance.
  • It is not subject to recalculation.

TUITION FEE

€10,950 / school year

  • Can be paid in several instalments, as presented in the payment plan;
  • The first instalment (for September) is payable upon enrolment and is non-refundable in the event of early termination of the contract;

Includes:

  • Individual resources and school supplies for the entire academic year;
  • Courses delivered in line with the Cambridge Curriculum;
  • Ongoing student progress feedback;
  • Participation in various educational projects and programmes;
  • IOANID School awards and diplomas;
  • Access to the Kinderpedia educational platform (the main communication tool with parents).

FINANCIAL GUARANTEE

€1,095 / school year

  • Payable in advance, in a single instalment, by 31 August 2025;
  • Used to cover any outstanding amounts owed by the legal guardian (contract holder) to the school (e.g. unpaid optional courses, reading materials) or any damages caused by the student;
  • If the contract is extended for the following school year, the guarantee will be carried forward, and any difference up to €1,095 (if applicable) must be settled;
  • It is refundable upon leaving the institution, in full or partially, depending on any outstanding payments.

  • Utilities and facilities maintenance.

CAMBRIDGE RESOURCES, PREPARATION AND EXAMINATION FEE

€1,200 / year

  • Represents the annual cost of Cambridge examinations – includes both materials and the exam fees themselves, but does not cover additional exams, re-sits, late entry fees, or re-marking/reviewing exam scripts;
  • Non-refundable;
  • Payable in full within 5 working days from the date of invoice issuance, after the enrolment file is signed and submitted;
  • Non-adjustable in case of absence from classes, regardless of the reason, or if the student transfers to another educational institution during the school year;

Includes:

  • Cambridge examination fees for up to 4 IGCSE AS Level subjects and up to 3 IGSCE A-Level subjects;

  • Administrative fee for exam registration;

  • Logistics fee: transport, customs, secure storage and handling of exam papers;

  • Registration and operation as an official Cambridge Examination Centre;

  • Printed resources, textbooks, and Cambridge exam materials;

  • Specialised Cambridge exam preparation courses;

  • Mock exams;

FINANCIAL SECURITY DEPOSIT

€1,095 / year

  • Payable in advance, in a single instalment, for the entire school year, no later than 31 August 2025;
  • Used to cover any outstanding amounts owed by the child’s legal guardian (contract holder) to the school (e.g. optional paid courses, books not paid on time), or any damage caused by the student;
  • If the contract is extended for the following school year, the deposit will be carried over, with a top-up to €1,095 if necessary;
  • Refundable in full or in part upon leaving the institution, depending on any outstanding debts.
